About HZ Massage
HZ Massage offers a convenient walk-in service, making it easy for customers to receive a massage without an appointment. The facility is clean but somewhat shabby, with treatment rooms that are more like cubicles, resulting in noticeable noise from the surrounding area. While the front desk staff also serve as massage therapists, their skills may not be highly technical, yet clients find the massages relaxing, especially with the addition of hot stones. Priced at $70 for an hour, the experience is considered good value. Though it may not be ideal for those needing therapeutic treatment for chronic issues, many customers appreciate the medium-pressure massages and the overall relaxing atmosphere. Overall, HZ Massage is recommended for those seeking a casual, no-frills massage experience.
They take walk-ins which is super convenient if you are passing by and they have availability. They only had one person available the three times that I stopped by. The front desk person will be doing your massage then leave to answer the door, but she comes right back. The massage is not a highly skilled situation, but it was enough pressure to relax my muscles a bit and leave me feeling better than when I came in, and the prices are on par with the experience. I think it was $70 for one hour which includes hot stones. It is loud in here because the walls of the treatment rooms do not go all the way up to the ceiling. They're more like cubicles with ten-foot walls around them. You can hear people coming in the front door and moving around within the building, as well as people in the patio area of the bar in the shopping center. but it looks and smells clean, and it is a no-frills experience. I wouldn't recommend it for someone in need of a theraputic massage for any chronic issues, but I would go back just for a relaxing medium-pressure massage.
I stopped by here on a Saturday afternoon with no appointment and I was able to get in right away for a one-hour deep tissue massage. The front desk lady did my massage, and it was pretty good. It didn't feel like she had technical massage training but for $70/hour it was relaxing enough. The place is shabby but clean and the hot stones felt really good. FYI it is quite loud in the treatment rooms. You can hear traffic on Gen. DeGaulle and people hanging out at the bar at the end of the strip mall.
I did not enjoy my massage. I paid for a 60 minute massage that was interrupted countless times by my masseuse leaving the room to either answer the phone or speak with customers. I was never able to get into my true relaxed state because my massage was so fragmented. The massage was also not that good.
