Listen. I don’t let just anyone near this hair because one wrong snip and I’m in witness protection. But Donita at Golden Shears? She’s the real deal.
She was so sweet I half expected her to hand me a cupcake mid-cut. Easy to talk to, like we’d been besties since middle school, and absolutely fast. Blink and suddenly I’ve got fresh hair and a renewed sense of self-worth.
No awkward small talk, no judgment for my grown-out ends, just pure talent and good vibes. If you want someone who knows what they’re doing and makes you feel fabulous while doing it, go see Donita. She’ll have you looking sharp and feeling even sharper.
I've been going to Donita for years, and she never disappoints. She's on meticulous with how she cuts my hair and beard. I give her a shoutout whenever I get a compliment because I honestly feel younger once I leave this spot. Also, you can't beat the prices. Highly recommend!
Jason is great! The first time we went, he rescued and repaired my son's haircut that was done at an awful chain salon. My son hated his hair, and Jason fixed it to the point that my son actually liked it. Not only does he do good cuts, he seems like a really good guy and is very understanding, etc, with the trials and tribulations of teenage boy hair. We are glad we found him.
