I have always been so picky about my hair- I was a blonde for years and I grew up going to an extremely nice salon in Georgetown, DC where I’m from. I was hesitant to get my hair done in NOLA because of some friends’ horror stories, but after some research I found Zoe Skelton at Anti Gravity, and I fell in love! Zoe is a godsend- bring her some photos and an idea of what you want, and she’ll deliver the absolute best results. Over the past two and a half years, she’s taken me from basic blonde to platinum, to dark blonde, and now to fully chocolate brunette! Her work is fabulous, and I’ve referred about 30+ girls to her because she’s just the best. I now consider her a friend and will forever fly to her to get my hair done no matter where I am in the country!

This gem is conveniently located, has an attractive aesthetic, and gives off an atmosphere that is exactly what someone would want out of an upscale posh downtown salon yet the amazing people and service I received were hands down the cake winning attributes of this place. Everyone was attentive as well as beyond kind, warm, and welcoming! Last but not least, David and Mary’s passion for excellence with clear attention to details and focus on satisfying their clients was superb. I haven’t had my hair professionally touched in a very long time (bad experiences in the past) and not only was Mary incredibly patient with me as she cut off nearly a foot of hair slowly and methodically in aim of getting the exact style I was looking for but she made me feel so much more at ease and confident in her process as well.
