I recently got a high ponytail installed by Ericka located at Amber Nicole Hair. Unprofessional stylist! It was done too tight and ended up leaving a bald spot.
It was done too tight!!! I took out the bobby pins. I then could not sustain the discomfort, so I had my mom take it out after about a couple of days. The spot where the ponytail sat was very sensitive when it was taken out. Once I washed my hair again and began combing, I noticed that there was a bald spot. I had no clue the ponytail was done too tight. I generally like this stylist but I feel that she should have warned me of the risks of getting that hair style before putting it in my head. I reached out to the stylist but she did not reply :( I was hoping that she could provide suggestions on what to do next. I’m working on scheduling an appointment with a dermatologist. DONT RECOMMEND THESE FOLKS

I have three sets of clip ins. I can’t fit all their hair on my head because the bundles are so full. They clean seamlessly and there’s no shedding. It colors easily and holds a curl. This will be my second year wearing my clip ins and I love them.

My daughter had an appointment on yesterday which was Friday. She's been natural for a while and her hair is super thick. When I picked her up ,all I could say was Wow Le,it's beautiful! She was the speaker for youth day at church today, and folks were like, "Is that Le"? She was awesome, and she looked stunning. Thanks Ms.Amber ,now she really can't stay out of the mirror❤️!

Overpriced and not good with customer service. I recently moved to Texas but wanted to find a salon to come to whenever I'm back in town. and my experience as a customer was not prioritized.

Okay, so I was visiting New Orleans and had been traveling for a while, and I was having a hair emergency. My sew-in had grown out significantly, especially in the back, and my hair was blonde with brown roots. It was showing really bad, so I called Amber Nicole hair, and she let me know that I could come in the following day in the morning because I did call late right before closing, and she got me together. She figured it out and got me together quickly, and I was able to go to the next state before going home. I am super grateful for her very professional, and was willing to figure out a way to help me. I'm very happy and I would highly recommend

Amber is the BEST! The salon is very neat, and it is a professional yet family like environment! I have going to her for my hair care needs for years, and I don’t plan on switching my stylist! She and the other ladies in the shop have a wealth of hair care knowledge, and she makes SURE that your hair is healthy!Overall- good stylist, good products, good vibes and BEAUTIFUL hair!

I really enjoy going to Amber! She is very engaging, patient, honest, and knowledgeable about hair! Every style that I have gotten (roller wrap, flat iron, pin curls, quick weave, trim) has been executed perfectly! I also appreciate that I am normally out of the salon within a couple of hours and it does not feel rushed at all! She has many different services and treatments. My personal favorite treatment is the scalp detox. :-) I totally recommend her!

Amber has been doing my hair since 2019. She’s extremely professional and prompt. She pays attention to the details of my hair and the style I’m getting. Quick weaves/sew ins are my usual styles and each time she perfects it. She believes in healthy hair and really ensures her clients hair grows and remains healthy. I extremely recommend her for your hair needs! ?
