They use some top of the line, high tech equipment. The doctor really help ease concerns in a major and permanent decision pertaining to health. The staff are the best. They make visits easier with conversations and laughter.
I was told by John Tripp and a staff member that United Healthcare- Medicaid didn't cover the dental work I needed done and that Aetna- Medicaid would cover the filling, teeth cleaning and extraction so I switched my insurance to Aetna and called back for an appointment when I was told that the filling and teeth cleaning wasn't covered and asked if I'd still like to come in for the extraction. So I came in for the extraction and they wanted to charge me $808 for the extraction and $100 plus for the anaesthetic. I replied to the nurse that 7 O'clock told me that it was going to be covered and now it's not, what's going on? The nurse was rude and interrupted me saying that I misunderstood them because that's not what they told me. Well I thanked them for wasting my time because that's exactly what they did. I get outside when Dr. Tripp comes to the parking lot with fists balled up following me around telling me " to talk crazy to me like you were talking crazy to my staff!" I genuinely thought this psychopath was going to attack me! I neither raised my voice or used any profanity with his staff,I merely informed the 1 nurse that this had been a total waste of my time by being told one thing only to arrive the day of the extraction to be told something else completely!! If that wasn't bad enough Dr. Tripp screams "you're only here because you have Medicaid or else you would be in Metairie getting seen by a white Dr.!" So Dr. Tripp obviously has a problem with people on Medicaid and has a problem with white people going to a black run dental office!! This was undoubtedly the worst experience that I've had at a Dr.' s office or of any business I've ever been to in my life. Dr. Tripp's behavior was completely unprofessional. He should keep his little Dental office right there in the ghetto, it's obviously where he belongs!!!Learn some manners Dr. Tripp!Rude staff and rude Dentist!!
OMG; I’ve been here before and as a patient I must say that Dr. Tripp dental clinic is a calm and clean environment; which made me less anxious. It was the staff that made me feel relaxed and comfortable. They were very courteous and kind. I have and will recommended others
I've been to several dental office through the years this office was so professional so state of the art just fabulous. A very beautiful & clean place. The staff was awesome. I am so proud of Dr John Tripp III. If you're looking for a dentist this is the place.
