My son, who struggles with anxiety, ADHD, and depression, was quite fearful of the exam. However, the compassionate and highly skilled team immediately put him at ease. I am new director of the ONLY STAND UP ( up right ) Dynamic OPEN MRI center in Metairie and New Orleans. I read negative comments written in 2012 and 2013 about in this center. I am sorry about bad experiences these patients had 10 years ago. The new team and technologists are best at what they do. This MRI technology is totally different than other MRI machines . The supine position that all other MRIs are built may or may not show your spine or joints abnormalities. If your back hurts in sitting or standing position , it makes more sense to have your MRI study at the same position.
