⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I walked into Metairie Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics just two weeks ago — uninsured and diagnosed with Stage 2 Level B Periodontitis. In only 14 days, through multiple appointments, I’ve had all four quadrants of my mouth deep cleaned with root scaling and planing, laser gum therapy, a root canal, and even a beautiful porcelain crown! What truly amazed me was not just the quality of care, but the compassion. I’m only “rich in spirit,” yet they met me exactly where I was financially, creating a payment plan that fit my budget so treatment could start immediately. Every staff member was professional, kind, and genuinely cared about my comfort and progress. I walked in nervous and in pain — I’m walking out with confidence, healing, and a reason to smile again. I can’t recommend this office enough!
I recently had a broken tooth (#30 molar) surgically extracted by Dr. Dragonas at Metairie Modern Dentistry in connection with what will ultimately be an implant. While I dwelled on the upcoming appointment for days, the outcome was believable! He and his assistant were amazing! They were very informative regarding the procedure, ensured I was well prepared to be as painless as possible. Despite the the tooth being less than cooperative resulting in very slight and I mean slight discomfort during the procedure, the unbelievable part is that I am not experiencing any pain in the days following the extraction, I mean none!! Dr Tingstrom is amazing. As for oral surgery. There oral surgeons are not there all the time. I had a tooth pulled a month ago and I have been in so much pain. The oral surgeon only comes in once a month and wanted me to drive all the way to Baton Rouge. Finally get appointment here in Metairie and they called to cancel. Oral surgeon doesn’t come back for another month and the other surgeon doesn’t come back for another 2 weeks. Recommend the dentists but if you need an oral surgeon go somewhere else!!
