I love ocean best place to be & they made my Christmas holiday special make sure I went home before Christmas & groups was 10/10 I learn so many coping skills , overall there OP is 10/10 too I love the Inpatient & outpatient program , food was good, staff ,techs , nurses was great, I love Mrs Buffy the nurse she gave me a jacket because both jackets I had had strings in them and they didn’t want to messed them up , I love Mrs moneka the social worker aka (strawberry) , and Mrs brittany too , I love Mrs mo the nurse she always made me laugh , I love the techs (mr maurio, Mrs .palle, Mrs .ashley ) overall Mrs Palle deserve recognition she struggle the most with patients...read full review
If i could give them more stars i would. I realized they never had any experience with a deaf patient as I am.. they’ve done a great job with me .. making communications was primary for groups and calls to family.. I’m not gone lie the food is ( okay ) bed are hella comfortable…. Btw they are a (((((none smoking facility)))) although it’s looks like jail on the inside but the staffs makes it feel homey.. I’m from tx and they’ve helped me get back home in time for the holidays.. I’m forever grateful for them!!!!!!! 10 stars
I just got discharged from OCEANS marrero, after a 7-day admission.
I had to leave a review because these places only tend to receive emotionally-charged grievances and more than half of these reviews aren't even from actual PATIENTS.
HIPPA laws protect our privacy for good reason.
I was very impressed with this place! If you are in a mental crisis, this is the place to go.
-Food is super good and you are fed extremely well throughout the day
-fairly comfortable beds
