I was a Fischer customer for years before they were bought out by Rentokil/Presto-X. In 2022 I called several times to renew a 3 year contract already w/ Presto-X -- no response. This year I called for a new quote and they stood me up for my confirmed appointment. Apparently they do not need nor want my business.Services: Termite inspection

I've had 3 houses with Fischer-X. Normally I wouldn't give them lower than a 2-star but I will now.I've used them for 3-4 years (2018-2022). Two houses were average (3-star). One house? It was a hot mess. I set up 4 appointments with the tech to actively treat that one house with subterranean termites. Four. Appointments...One tech didn't bring his ladder. One tech said something that couldn't be done that day so another tech showed up, and he said he wasn't allowed to go up on the roof because it was against policy. Sure, but why didn't anyone tell me this before.So on the 4th attempt (after 3-4 weeks of planning), I think someone did go inside to treat the insider rafters, thankfully. They also drilled some holes in the front porch to spray. Next year (or following year), I had termites reappear in the roof. Tech came out and drilled more holes in the front porch to treat: both columns (left and right) as well as near the top sill.So why the 1 star? I would have given 2-stars but since I didn't renew the contract the 3rd/4th year, it is now (2023) have a collector's debt calling on their behalf saying I owe money from PrestoX. I received a dozen calls in 2022 (contract ended in Spring 2022) but since I didn't renew the contract and never set up an appointment to get the home treated, why is a debt collector asking for past due.I will add "past due invoice" whenever I come across them. Thanks.

After being under contract for years, we now have active termites in our crawlspace. I called to setup an appointment for the 22nd of November. The company sent their technician out on the 16th to "inspect and treat", while I was out of town. After 2 half hour calls to the call center in Ohio I got nowhere. They refuse to give the contact for the local branch or the technician's contact. They have failed to prevent termites, failed to communicate, failed to follow directions, failed to keep appointment times. They trespassed on my property while no one was home. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY....Services: Termite inspection
