Having practiced a variety of martial arts over the last ~10 years, I’m certain Coach Mark and his Team of coaches at Gracie are THE best in the industry. Two words- WORLD CLASS. If you want to get in tip top shape, build mental and physical resilience, and learn an unfair advantage in Martial Arts- this is the place to be. It’s the real deal - hardcore competitors are built here but also those looking to be part of a positive and encouraging team who just want to get better.
My 7 year old has been attending classes here for a little over 2 years. I cannot speak highly enough about Gracie United - Team Jucao Kenner. Coach Mark & Professor Rick have not just built an academy, they have built a community. They, along with all of the coaches here, truly want every person that trains with them to be a success, both on and off the mat. Genuinely didn't know what BJJ was before I entered the gym. I'm an introverted blonde woman and, if I thought about it, I'd think it wasn't for me.It very much is. I'm glad I went. I've been training now for a year and a half.On the very first trial class, a kid half my height and half my age sweeped me (tipped me over) with just technique. That was when I knew I'd absolutely love this. This sport is not just a good physical workout, it's a fun puzzle, it's stress relief, it's learning self-defense, and it's genuine community.
