I lost my medical insurance due to a divorce, and I was doing research and where I could go. They did a sliding scale process for costs of my visits - which I felt so relieved because I was very concerned for the financial aspect. The whole time they reassured me that they would never turn me away for medical concerns regardless of my financial situation.
My time from check in to the visit was honestly the best visit I've had at ANY medical facility. From the receptionist, to the lab tech, nurse, and provider - for the first time I truly found a medical staff that genuinely cares about their patient!! My concerns were addressed and heard. I needed the shingles vax after searching multiple places they had it in stock and at the best price anywhere. The staff was all friendly and answered any questions. The nurse was knowledgeable and caring. The wait was hardly any. I'd definitely recommend the health unit to anyone who needs vaccines or a quick medical appt at really the best price you will find.
