    Hillcrest cemetery throws away anything and everything that you leave on your loved ones graves. They claim its their policy but I have been coming to this cemetery for 4 decades and I assure you this was never their policy. They have only been doing it this year and they are very good at removing anything you may leave before the sun even sets. Imagine your job is to collect and throw away any flowers etc you may leave your loved ones. How do you dleep at night? They are no longer here so this is all we have to grieve them and feel connected to them. Maybe you should be informing hearbroken loved ones that this is your policy beforr they choose this as their final resting place. I wish I could move my brothers to somewhere where they aren't just a profit to be made. Shame on whoever decided to enforce this horrible new policy.

    Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home prepared my father for his burial in Southwest Missouri in December of 2011. My mother passed away in July of 2025. She was buried beside him. I couldn’t be happier with the services that Hill Crest provides. I would recommend this funeral home to anyone!

    I highly recommend services with Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home & Park. You are made comfortable from the moment you visit for a first appointment until the interment of your loved one(s). Recently we had a headstone placed at my Uncles’ gravesite and Jessica was very helpful and professional guiding us through the process.

    I met some of the nicest people at Hill Crest Funeral Home!!!
    Not only did my advisor help me to understand the process of taking control of my own funeral so my daughter would not have to make any decisions. She will be able to see what I chose for my service and eternal resting place.
    I would be happy to tell anyone that has questions, please go ahead and meet with an advisor and allow them to help you with your life ending.

    I would personally request that no one ever use Hill Crest funeral in Haughton, LA. They have given me nothing but hell since the first day I walked in the door. 1st demanding 100% payment upfront to post an obituary even when insurance was telling them they had the funds but needed a couple days to give them a confirmation number. Which resulted in me having to get loan and pay cash so obit could be posted sooner than day of funeral. 2nd dragging out the stone design over months when claiming to get back to me same day and then not. 3rd offering a 5 year payment plan for stone and claiming they will order when the design is settled, to me saying I’m ready to order and thinking they placed said order, to calling back 12 weeks later asking if it was in, to being told they had to have 75% to 100% payment on stone to place order. Never said this while setting up 5 year payment plan. 4th me paying off the stone and getting them to place order and they did the stone wrong. Left off emblems and made in wrong color. 5th and final straw which caused this post-them refusing to fix stone claiming the color is the aquamarine color I ordered. See my fb page for public post showing images of display and actual stone colors. Tell me if you see the same color or not. My head could explode at how horrible they have treated the boys and I through the whole process and I am sure I left some things out because it has been one thing after another for the past near 10 months.

    My dad passed away unexpectedly, and I am beyond touched by how amazing the staff at Hillcrest has been and how helpful they are during this difficult process. The staff there, especially Amanda, are true angels on earth. We are incredibly grateful to them. ♥️🙏🏻

    I’m really upset with Hillcrest removing our flowers from the cemetery and throwing them away. I’m out there constantly visiting my 30year old son who passed 6 months ago. They said if you have any thing in the vase it would not be removed. That’s a Lie !!!! My 1 item got removed and thrown in the trash. You guys might not care about my son . But it’s all I have left of him. We bought 4 plots and my grand parents are there. I wish I could move him. They are extremely expensive and don’t care about you. Just money!
    I’m so unhappy with Hillcrest Cemetery.
