Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home & Park truly prioritized my expectations and my mother's needs. They guided me through every step of the process with care and clarity, ensuring I fully understood everything. Their attention to detail was impeccable, from the supervisor, Ms. Leslie, and Ms. Hazel, to the Chaplain, all of whom demonstrated genuine compassion, making us feel completely at ease in entrusting them with our mother's care.

We were able to choose our preferred location and ultimately found ourselves in the stunning, newly established Magnolia State Garden—an absolutely priceless, beautiful setting.

I wholeheartedly recommend Hillcrest, whether you're new to this or seeking someone to walk you through future arrangements. They will support you tirelessly, guiding you at every turn, and offer flexible, easy payment plans for your convenience.

To the entire staff: thank you from the bottom of my heart for sincerely caring for me, my family, and our beloved mother.

Donna Valentine was excellent in setting up my plan and helping with the financial part. Everything was well explained.

Donna, Stacy, & Dot were amazing! They took the time to listen to what I wanted for my firefighter husbands' line of duty death funeral. They worked hand in hand with the fire department to ensure everything I wanted and what needed to be done was executed to a T. The funeral ran smoothly and like clockwork. Them working with the fire department they way they did, took so much off of me as the surviving spouse.

Everyone I have interacted with at Hill Crest is kind, knowledgeable, and very professional. They offer a comprehensive service, and they treat you and your loved ones with care.

Also I just have to say that Mrs. Dot was incredibly helpful to me and I appreciate everything she did to make everything work. Thank you!

Had a terrible experience starting from the funeral all the way up to trying to order a headstone. There was one girl that was helpful. They throw away your stuff too that sentimental instead of keeping them and letting people know they have them they just throw it away and since With my situation, The family’s divided I’m the daughter, but my dad’s wife apparently got catered to, she got to make ALL the decisions, wrote the whole obituary and then to top it off , The day of the funeral She got let in first and was seated first while I had to wait at the entrance then once she was seated and picked where she wanted to sit, then they let me and my family in. We don’t agree on the headstone, so therefore ultimately she gets say so even though she doesn’t want to pay to get my father headstone so he won’t be getting one. This place I do not recommend. I’ve read other reviews about here and they say the same exact thing as far as discarding families sentimental things. Doesn’t matter if it’s a rule or not they shouldn’t throw peoples belongings away , I’m very dissatisfied with this place and it’s a DISGRACE to my father That’s buried here.

Hillcrest cemetery throws away anything and everything that you leave on your loved ones graves. They claim its their policy but I have been coming to this cemetery for 4 decades and I assure you this was never their policy. They have only been doing it this year and they are very good at removing anything you may leave before the sun even sets. Imagine your job is to collect and throw away any flowers etc you may leave your loved ones. How do you dleep at night? They are no longer here so this is all we have to grieve them and feel connected to them. Maybe you should be informing hearbroken loved ones that this is your policy beforr they choose this as their final resting place. I wish I could move my brothers to somewhere where they aren't just a profit to be made. Shame on whoever decided to enforce this horrible new policy.

Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home prepared my father for his burial in Southwest Missouri in December of 2011. My mother passed away in July of 2025. She was buried beside him. I couldn’t be happier with the services that Hill Crest provides. I would recommend this funeral home to anyone!
