Used them after hurricane damage . Great job with Roof. Larry, roof foreman was present daily with roofing and came back to fix minor issues . Good quality roofing work , no complaints. Issues were with bathroom remodel from hurricane. Bathroom was gutted and remodeled. General contractor never came to check bathroom job. He assigned his wife Julie to run/oversee the bathroom project ( I do not recall she is a licensed contractor, presented herself as having an accounting background) . She would send workers out with coming to see what next step would be. Multiple times we had to call her and tell her previous guys did not finish their part so next pppl could start yet she had sent them that morning and they were standing at our door . Over all a simple straightforward bathroom remodel took 7 plus months, not so much supply issues more about not sending workers to do the small job, more worried about sending their workers to new construction project for their parade of homes houses….Tried to tell us that bathroom lights could not be placed over sinks. Yet my husband had to move them himself to look appropriate, Entire time felt like our remodel was after thought to them yet they were paid in full and they never worried about their reputation for our remodel ( we were small fish )…. Lacks consistent customer service and follow through to complete complete the task . When we asked questions she was defensive and were chewed out by the wife who appeared to be the project manager. Work was sloppy lots of unfinshed issues, no caulk around tub. Biggest issue was framer who reframed and Installed new pocket door ( since bathroom was gutted to studs ). Then trim carpenter came to add molding and there is a 2” discrepancy from top of pocket door frame to bottom of frame, trim carpenter said this the best he could do. When we asked about this to general contractor ( who is licensed) he never personally came to see nor attempt to have it corrected. Was told by wife that was how it must have been before but yet we had pre hurricane pictures to prove that was not so. Wife was consistently defensive and short tempered with us. I held back in writing this review for almost a year to see if they would ever offer to make the pocket door square at their expense, and add tub caulk …hopeful they would want to make things right in the 24k bathroom remodel. They have never returned to address bathroom concerns. If you are building a new construction home they may treat you different because of the $$, but they have poor customer service if you need smaller jobs….. as a business owner and contractor they need to take full accountability of the work from their sub contractors and as licensed contractor he should inspect their work weekly. Just as they feature pictures of their work in new construction parade of homes let me attach pictures of their work as a representation of DiGiovanni construction for bathroom remodels. Food for thought : “ In life we should treat the janitor and the CEO with the same care and concern. “ 7 months to complete job Felt attacked by project manager, Poor workmanship, no follow up and obviously no sense of accountability to make things right in bathroom remodel.
