I have to say I really enjoyed and got a lot out of my 2 and a half weeks at this facility. There's an amazing family like atmosphere here and the nursing and therapy staff really care about their patients and will go above and beyond for them. From the administration to the housekeeping everyone does what they can to prepare you to get back home. The therapy is top notch and they really work with you to get you back on your feet. My daughter was in this facility for two weeks in May 2026, after a serious fall injury. When it was time for her to be discharged and taken back to her home in New Orleans, there were numerous complications. My daughter's boyfriend (who had the only set of keys) wasn't at the house when my daughter was taken back, and couldn't be found. Ms. Rosa Mills, who works with United Medical Rehab Hospital, took it upon herself, after several hours of my daughter waiting in the van by her house to no avail, to have my daughter brought back to the UMRH, despite the fact that my daughter had been officially discharged.
These people are amazing! They treated my mom amazing, amazing nurses and doctors did everything they had to do to get her better to come back home and they did that! I definitely recommend this place for your loved one!❤️
