I have to say I really enjoyed and got a lot out of my 2 and a half weeks at this facility. There's an amazing family like atmosphere here and the nursing and therapy staff really care about their patients and will go above and beyond for them. From the administration to the housekeeping everyone does what they can to prepare you to get back home. The therapy is top notch and they really work with you to get you back on your feet. Special thank you to, Percy, Shawn,Alecia, eisha, mai,Beth, geisha, joyce, caroll, vee, denisha,Morgan tamika, Liz ,lenna, Karen, Jackie the Don is amazing and really listens to your concerns I'm sure I left a few people off the list but it was amazing and I thank you all so much. The facility was maintained by a wonderful maintenance staff and housekeeping. If your looking for a great inpatient rehab facility please give this place a chance.

My daughter was in this facility for two weeks in May 2026, after a serious fall injury. When it was time for her to be discharged and taken back to her home in New Orleans, there were numerous complications. My daughter's boyfriend (who had the only set of keys) wasn't at the house when my daughter was taken back, and couldn't be found. Ms. Rosa Mills, who works with United Medical Rehab Hospital, took it upon herself, after several hours of my daughter waiting in the van by her house to no avail, to have my daughter brought back to the UMRH, despite the fact that my daughter had been officially discharged.
The next day, the boyfriend had still not been found, so Ms. Mills drove across the river, to the grocery store where he works, got him to promise to be at the house after he got off work, and stay there until the Hospital could have my daughter taken back home. There were transportation glitches that afternoon, but she eventually was able to arrange an Uber to take my daughter home. My daughter arrived home, the boyfriend was there, and the whole 48 hour drama was successfully concluded.
There is a good more to this story, but the through line to it all is that Ms. Rosa Mills was committed to helping my daughter, and did so with persistence, all the while communicating with me at various hours of the day and night. I live 1,200 miles from New Orleans, so Ms. Mills' dedication and thoroughness helped lift a lot of stress from me and our family.

I was in a unique situation because I had 2 separate injuries that needed different types of therapy and at different times. I was not healed enough to go through the full "therapy process." That being said I was there for 2 weeks and this is my opinion... 1. Gwen is phenomenal. There should be more nurses like her. I cannot praise her enough. 2. Dr. Williams does the best he can to decifer what each individual's needs are. That in itself is not an easy task considering the diverse patients in this facility. I applaud him in helping me as much as he could. 3. One star deducted because the night shift nurses (not all of them) are rude, lazy and have bad attitudes. 4. Another star deducted because the food is AWEFUL!!!! If you go there make sure door dash is readily available. Hope this helps anyone looking for a therapy option.

Absolutely the best rehab I've ever been in. The doctors (Dr. Williams & Dr. Little, the staff, social worker, all the nurses, CNA's, PT & OT staff & even the patients I had the pleasure of meeting were all so wonderful. I recommend it to anyone who is willing to do whatever they need to do to get back walking. I honestly would recommend it to a family member and friends.

This rehab facis the best one I ever been do. I'm giving it 5 stars because there are some employees.Employee, The OT therapist and the physical therapist. The staff is, it's kind and courtesy to the patient's needs. There's one employee that's a physical therapy is the name s SeanYou will push you to the end. What's saying, but save me from being in a wheelchair. And help me so I don't know how to walk again.
