I was in town for my wedding nuptials and in need of a good wash and set. I was recommended to Tracy by my wedding coordinator, and requested a wash and set however during several text messages and also during my consult, she insisted that a silk press and pin curls would hold in my hair and look beautiful. I informed her that my hair holds best with a wash and set, but I would be willing to try the silk press, since she kept insisting on it. I was very cautious to try the silk press because I know my hair changes texture completely when blow dried, versus sitting under the dryer, which holds my hair better. I also informed her that I cannot wrap my hair, because my scalp gets hot and starts sweating (which was again a reason for getting the wash and set). I should have stuck to my guns and gotten done what I wanted, versus what was highly recommended. But three hours later, and my hair was all pinned up and looked nice. Tracy provided me with a shower cap to go outside with (since there was a downpour), however, my scalp started sweating due to the humidity under the showercap. Almost an hour later, and the pincurls started to literally fall down. The bobby pins were pinned together, and chunks of them just started coming down because my hair doesn't really hold curl well when I don't have a wash and set (as I informed the stylist previously). I didnt even have time to pin them up because they were all falling down, so i took them out. My hair almost immediately went flat, as I knew it would, and the curls were gone. Then my hair started to frizz, because not the hottest heat was applied (which I also discussed with the stylist). And there went my wedding up do. I contacted Tracy to inform her that what happened is exactly what I feared: that my blow-dried straight hair would not hold a curl. I also asked if I could receive a refund. Instead, she responded that it was my fault that I took my pin curls down (even though my hair had already began to fall. The reponse I received in reply was not customer centric and more defensive, which is ironic because I did inform her of my caution about getting a silk press. I was also told I wouldn't receive a refund, either, since this was not her fault that I took my falling curls down. I think I am more hurt than anything, because I should have trusted my instinct and gone with what I know to work the best for me. Tracy did offer to come "fix" it for me however the next day was my wedding day and not enough time to fit her in. Overall, I am sad that I did not stick to my gut and get what I knew would work. I do believe the customer is always right, but definitely think she should have met me halfway instead of saying it was my fault, especially when I insisted on something and she insisted it would work (and it didn't). Very nice person, but I am not a fan of her customer service policy, especially if you are not local and don't have a chance to fix something you didn't want or think would work in the first place.

Tracy is an awesome hair stylist and barber. She does my hair and cuts my husband and sons hair as well. Tracy hands are truly blessed. My hair is so healthy and has grown a lot since I've been under her care. My whole family loves our visits with her. I have a busy-body 2 year old whom hair she cuts. She is so patient and gentle with him. She does a great job on all our heads. In addition to her hair skills she also does makeup. I love the way she does my face for events. I'm so grateful I found her. Thanks Tracy, I love your work!

Tracy is an awesome stylist and barber. She does my hair and cuts my husband and sons hair as well. Tracy hands are truly blessed. My hair is so healthy and has grown a lot since I've been under her care. My whole family loves our visits with her. I have a busy-body 2 year old whom hair she cuts. She is so patient and gentle with him. She does a great job on all our heads. In addition to her hair skills she also does makeup. I love the way she does my face for events.
