“I flew in to New Orleans for a friend's wedding and went shopping the day of to find a dress (long story).Went to Saks at 11 am when they opened, found a dress that was at least a foot too long, and bought it thinking I'd just cut it myself if needed since it was a scuba material and doesn't fray when cut (just needs stitched at the side seams).Luckily, instead of ruining a brand new dress trying to do the DIY method, I quickly googled tailors in the area and found Tailors International a couple of blocks from our hotel.My boyfriend took the dress in at noon for them to look at, I walked over an hour later to put it on for pinning (while on a virtual work call), and Tailors was patient and efficient enough to work it in between other jobs and complete by 2:30 pm, incredible!They did (unsurprisingly) a much better job than I ever would've done and made the afternoon so much less stressful than it could and should have been.Even had it not been such an impressive quick turnaround, the work itself was fabulous! He hemmed it exactly where I wanted it to be (I am so glad he reminded me to wear my shoes to the pinning rather than just tell him how much to take off) and the cut/stitching was flawless!“

“I went here for the first time today because they were able to dry clean a couple of garments this same day for the modest upcharge of a dollar a piece. I actually spoke to a customer who had just exited the business before I walked in and asked whether they did good work, and she said the they did and she was very picky about what she expected. The lady at the desk who I also believe is the owner, told me that normally they can do your clothes on the same day if you bring in your pieces before 9 am, but since it was only about 10:30 that she could accommodate me. When I picked up the pieces at 6pm, her daughter helped me and was very nice and took the time to tell me about their family business and that everything is done on the site and not by other parties. Their work was excellent and I like the idea of supporting a family business such as this one. As I was leaving, I could see the Mom and her daughter both in the back working away. People like this deserve our support : )“
