“I worked with Lissy to do my bridal hair and makeup and I cannot compliment or recommend her enough! She was incredibly responsive, engaged, and enthusiastic during the entire planning and trial process, and she executed to absolute perfection on my wedding day.

Lissy did all the makeup for myself and my 3 bridesmaids, and we each had very different features (some monolids, some double eyelids, some hooded eyes) but she was able to adjust to it all based on our preferences and requests. Also shout out to Michelle, who did all the hair for my bridesmaids and my hair prep.

“Ah! I loved it here- such a fun space and the pedicure that I had was everything that I needed! There are so many amazing services offered and then the option to customize your experience with add-ons while booking make sure that you get the exact service that you want! I booked the nourishing mineral jelly pedi and added on a paraffin wax dip. I search for jelly pedicures literally whenever I go to a new salon and NO ONE offers them- so I was over the moon that this was an option and it was an absolutely incredible pedicure! I loved it and the paraffin dip was the perfect way to finish it off! I loved every second of it and will definitely recommend Lab and Lounge to anyone visiting the area!“

While I was waiting, she even offered me a complimentary massage chair session and a refreshment which was completely unexpected and very much appreciated. It is small gestures like that that really show how much she cares about her customers.

“This is one of my favorite stores in New Orleans! The locally made outfits, wigs, and accessories are truly one-of-a-kind. They even have an area where you can buy DIY supplies to make your own costumes! The salon is great, as well. It is the only place in town where I feel confident getting short/pixie haircut.
