Dr. Thorson and her team are fantastic. I always feel comfortable bringing my kids here, and they make the experience as fun and stress-free as possible. Highly recommend for pediatric dentistry!

This place is horrible. They didn’t give my son enough numbing medicine. He told her that she was hurting him and she kept saying he old enough and he should stop crying. Kept talking about her earring she got on sale. Who cares be careful with my son and do your job right. She did his crown and it was so big. I had Dr. THORSON to shave it down because she did a bad job.The worst dentist EVER. Run do not take your kids there.

Very disappointed with this dentistry. My 3-year-old was treated roughly, and when her dad asked the dentist to stop, she got offended, walked out, and never returned. We waited almost 20 minutes to speak with her, but were told instead we’d be sent a dismissal letter.
We tried to be respectful and explain our daughter’s past bad experience there ( from the same dentist), but the staff acted like they were the victims. My daughter left with red cheeks and is now terrified of the dentist. This place is supposed to specialize in kids, yet showed no patience or care. We will not be returning.

This is not the best place to go if you're like me and run late sometimes. They stopped seeing my child because I was late twice, but I can't understand a pediatric dentist being ok with punishing a child like that. Try Great Big Smiles instead if you're looking for a dentist for your child.

Everyone has their own experiences. Here’s mine:
Let me start off by saying this: Can we normalize not upcharging patients without their knowledge?
We started seeing this pediatric dentist office because they came highly recommended by friends of children with autism. Finding a dentist for Lyla was very important to us because the girl really put up a good fight when it came to brushing and flossing as a toddler. All seemed fine. We were happy and would have highly recommended them up until today even after they did something I find extremely shady a few months ago. Let me start there.
My 9 year old had 2 cavities on each side of her K9s. They offered an arrestment treatment which is literally dental floss with some sort of sealant on it. They recommended I arrested both teeth. I show up to the first appointment and was charged $100 for the nitrous plus whatever my insurance didn’t cover. 6 or 7 mins, in and out. It’s literally dental floss with goo on it to stop the cavity from further deterioration. The follow up appointment was 2 weeks later. Same thing. $100 for nitrous and whatever my insurance didn’t cover of the actual procedure. We walk in, my daughter sits in the chair and the hygienist looks confused. She then says, “did she just lose a tooth?” which she had the night before. She was like well then I guess we don’t need to arrest that tooth then. Mind you, my daughter was just filled with nitrous oxide. It took less than a minute for her to do the work she needed to do but then it dawned on me… were they really recommending a treatment on teeth that were about to fall out? So I said to the hygienist, “why did we even do this treatment if her teeth were about to fall out?” She just shrugged her shoulders. Then I said “the nitrous isn’t even necessary..” and she said,”no it’s not. She could definitely do this with out it.”
So now I’m annoyed because these things should have all been options.
Do I want nitrous?
Her baby teeth are about to fall out, would you still like to have this procedure?
I would have opted out for both but I wasn’t given the details to give informed consent. I was being up charged and they hoped I didn’t notice.
Once I left I called the office back because it just didn’t sit right with me. My daughter sat in that chair for 2 minutes at most and they charged me $200. The same 2 weeks before. $400 to floss my daughter with goo.. and I asked that they credit my account for the work I paid for but she didn’t get because her tooth had fallen out the night before. They game me a full refund and all was well. Mistakes and oversights happen. No harm done.
Then today happened. I’ve NEVER been treated with such disrespect in my life. I walk in with my other daughter who has 2 small fillings that are being filled and my bill is $400! FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS! I have dental insurance! Imagine my surprise when I’m presented with this…. I’m caught off guard so I’m asking all the questions as to why so much, I agree to the terms, sign and sit in the waiting room which was empty. I call my husband and ask him to “call our insurance company and find out what changed because I’ve never paid this much money for fillings before.”
They takes back to the exam room, gas my daughter up and then this woman pulls me out of the room to tell me that she was told I was complaining of prices and she’s refusing us service. She had my daughter hooked up to nitrous and then decided she wasn’t going to fix her teeth because she didn’t like that I questioned the cost of our bill. My daughter is 17. She didn’t NEED nitrous! She also didn’t NEED sealants nor were any of this given to me as options. My bill wasn’t $400 because my insurance changed, it was $400 because they were performing unnecessary procedures using unnecessary protocols that was costing me hundreds of dollars without even speaking to me about it.
What I’ve learned about this place is they are not interested in helping children. They are interested in taking advantage of those children’s parents by over charging them for procedures they don’t nee
