From the moment I walked into Ulta Beauty that day, I knew this visit was going to be special. I’ve shopped at Ulta several times before, but never truly connected with anyone—until I met Liza. She greeted me with such warmth and kindness that it instantly felt like I was catching up with an old friend.
Liza took her time to truly understand what I wanted and needed, working with my budget and never once making me feel pressured to buy things I didn’t need. She skillfully suggested items I might enjoy, and I ended up purchasing a few of them because her recommendations were so spot-on.
I went to Ulta for my wife… and immediately realized I was deeply unqualified to be in there unsupervised. So many products. So many brushes. At one point I was holding something called a setting spray like it was a live grenade.
But let me say—the staff was amazing. Patient, passionate, and somehow able to translate my panicked description of “that pink stuff in the little jar she uses on her face sometimes” into actual suggestions. Shoutout to the associate who gently rescued me and didn’t laugh too hard when I asked if “serum” was a drink.
