The alleged positive of dealing with a small, local bank is the access you have to real people for customer service versus only being able to select from automated options. The negative is that often only one person is qualified to do certain things so if that one person is busy when you call then you can either stay on hold for copious amounts of time or leave a message and never have your call returned. Neither is ideal and, sadly, I have experienced both while dealing with Gulf Coast. Let me start off by saying I bank with a lot of banks. This location of Gulf Coast Bank & Trust is by far the best bank I've ever banked with. The staff is very friendly, professional, and are an integral part of helping me run my business. The only bank I enjoy working with.

amazing bank. Feels like family all the way from management to tellers. Local, caring, conscientious people! they care about their patrons and actively assist in the community with charitable events.
