I’m not one to bash or post negative comments so I won’t. With that being said, after moving to the northshore, I couldn’t seem to find a vet that I trusted with my precious fur babies. Last Friday, Franklin was in heavy breathing distress. I rushed him into the vet that I WAS using. Before doing even one test, she told me he probably had a tumor on his liver. She then began tests and gave him medications, all totalling $515 (there was no tumor). I left with a terrible feeling that I was being taken advantage of. I prayed and prayed for God’s discernment. Very nice team in this hospital. All of them are very friendly and helpful. My dog's is being treated here for years and we all have been very happy with the vet. The groomer's very good with my little Pom.
Since my first visit with Dr Rusty Maher, I felt at ease, confident that he would advise me appropriately in the care of my senior dogs. I had the experience at another clinic in the past of having medications and procedures recommended that my boys did not need.
Dr Katie Maher is nothing short of amazing. My Schnauzer, Remy, at age 14, became very sick over the course of several months. I was preparing myself and my kids for the end when I took him in to see Dr Katie. She diagnosed him in 10 minutes with a food allergy and fungal and bacterial skin infections.
