I've been going to Danielle's for several yrs. Through the yrs Danielle became more and more moody and therefore I was having to walk on egg shells when talking to her because if you said something she didn't like she would bite your head off. I live in Broussard and was trying to support local businesses. The icing on the cake was she started using a "girl" her words, to make her appointments at the end of 2021. This person doesn't even work there. Back in December 2021, I called her girl to schedule my next appt for Jan and this girl wanted to schedule 5 months out. Never heard of having to make appts this far out. May 4th, I called "her girl" to schedule a perm for the first week of June and she couldn't take me until June 22nd. This girl told me that I needed to call at least 3 to 4 weeks in advance which I was doing (7 wks before I could get appt). I went and got my hair cut on May 5th. Danielle gave me a card with my next appt on June 1st. I said I didn't make that appt and had already made one for June 22nd, I told Danielle I didn't want the June 1st appt. On May 9th Danielle contacted me to verify that I didn't want the June 1st appt. I told her "no". She said she would remove me from the appt book. My assumption was she was removing me from the June 1st appt. I SHOWED UP ON JUNE 22nd for my perm and Danielle told me I didn't have an appt. I called her girl while I was there at her shop and she said she was told to remove ALL my appts. I then confronted Danielle about this and she said that "when I didn't want to stay in rotation" she told her girl to cancel ALL my future appts. I was SHOCKED BY THIS ATTIITUDE. I've never been treated by any hairdresser or business owner like this. What is staying in rotation? You, the customer, can't cancel appt???? This girl who makes the appts, NEVER EVER checks to see if the day and time she is scheduling you for is ok!!! I have never in my life ever heard of ANY company making an appt without checking to see if you are available on that day or time. I've never had a hairdresser who I couldn't call and get an appt within a week or two and the time I would like. IF I COULD GIVE DANIELLE A NEGATIVE RATING, I would. So unprofessional!!!! I WOULDN"T RECOMMEND ANYONE GO AND SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!!!!!Service: Haircut
