The salon itself is gorgeous — bright, clean, and such a warm, welcoming vibe the moment you walk in.
Nicholas is an absolute gem. My daughter has very long hair and was nervous because this was the first time she wanted more than just a trim (a big chop for her!). He took the time to listen to what she wanted, asked all the right questions and made her feel completely at ease. He gave her the most beautiful, transformative cut. She is still making sure everyone knows about her haircut!

I always have such a good experience at Salon Oak in Belle Chasse with Shanna Talamo and Treciah Smith. They’re both so talented and easy to talk to, and they really listen to what you want.
I always leave loving my hair. The stylists and aestheticians here are friendly, professional, and make you feel comfortable the whole time. The vibe is great and the results are even better.
If you’re looking for a salon you can trust, I definitely recommend Salon Oak—and definitely book with Shanna or Treciah!
