Admited for surgery. Dr. Jakob was my assigned surgeon, instead of pushing my surgery out Dr. Golightly performed it. The surgery staff was absolutely amazing. My floor nurse Allen was amazing as well, his job isn't just a job! Yes! I went down the rabbit hole and read all of the reviews 2 hours before my surgery and some of them I was very taken back and nervous over. All in all my experience was great! Thank you to everyone who had a hand in Triage and care.
I would give 5 stars but I feel like they released my grandmother to therapy way too soon!! And She is now right back at this hospital! I feel safer with her being her than at that nursing home for rehab! I want to thank everyone caring for her and want to give a BIG shot out to the girl on the 3rd floor this evening, I belive her name is Kajah Mcknight. She came and helped me herself to change my grandma's bed and wipe her clean after she wet her bed! She was so kind and gentle as well. So thank you!
My husband suffered a stroke and we went to the emergency room @Ochsner and we received extremely good care from the staff from the time we walked in. He was admitted and was there several days. Everyone was very nice and professional. I definitely would recommend this hospital for someone seeking emergency treatment.
