When I had my two cats who came down with serious health issues, Dr. Doan and his LOVELY team of nurses were so supportive and kind and did everything they could to be there for us, even through the hardest parts. I’ve done my research and tried other doctors as well, and while they were also fine, something about Dr. Doan and his staff just made us feel more at home. I have a pretty rowdy dog and they have done a great job handling his excitement and anxiety, whereas other clinics have seemed to not handle his rowdiness as well. Dr. Doan has also done a teeth cleaning on my dog and did a great job and I’m about to book another one for my other dog! I have nothing but great things to say about this clinic. And I have not once gotten the impression that they were trying to oversell me on my bill or take advantage of me. If you want a staff that doesn’t judge, is kind and welcoming, does everything they can to help, and genuinely cares, this is the perfect clinic for you and your pets.“

“I met Jim about ten years ago when he first came into the dog training scene. Throughout my lifetime working in animal care and control I have been involved with lots of dog trainers. I loved Jim’s positive approach to dog training but also knowing how to give a mild correction when needed. I am a firm believer in training so loved his levels training where you continue on with the training to higher levels as the dog progresses, sometimes throughout its lifetime. When Jim opened For Paws I started training there with my adult dogs and loved it. So when I got my Russell Terrier pup, Tally Ho, it was a no brainer to take her there. I started her in puppy culture at four months and at six years old we continue on in level four. As proof to her excellent training throughout her lifetime not only is she the perfect friend and companion but she has gone on to achieve titles in Rally, obedience, barn hunt, lure coursing, dock diving, etc. She qualified and showed at the 2024 AKC Rally National Championships. She is also the best Therapy Dog that I have ever owned. I highly recommend Jim and his training facility if you are looking for a place to train your dog. Not only does he train owners to train their dogs but he also will train dogs himself and work with problem dogs, train therapy and service dogs and is the evaluator for Alliance of Therapy Dogs in this area. The proof is in the dogs that Jim turns out.“
