I have brought numerous pets to RVC over the last 8 years. Never have I had a negative experience and I am there on a regular basis with special needs pets. The positive experience starts at the front desk and continues throughout the entire visit. The doctors are proactive as well as extremely competent in emergency situations. In addition, they are truly compassionate, caring and extremely knowledgeable. I am forever grateful to the entire staff for always treating my pets like their own family!
If I could give them 10 stars I would. I have a big dog with a lot of fear of vets and clinics from experiences with an illnesses he had as a puppy. He would turn in to a shell of himself as soon as we walked in a vet clinic door. As he got bigger he became nearly impossible to manage for routine work. I read online that Dr. Putnam was great with tough dogs. That he worked with behavior modification and patience. Fast forward to a visit where we did no vet work but Dr. Putnam sat on the floor with my dog for over a half hour just to get him comfortable. Dr. Putnam is simply the best veterinarian in the area, perhaps in the state. His clinic is of the highest quality, in every aspect; the staff are knowledgeable and friendly; and the quality of care is simply unmatched. 15/10 Dr. Putnam and RVC are the Best.
