Zo did my hair and beard. I've lived in Louisville for 13 years now, have been to barbers all over Louisville. Zo paid more attention to details than any other barber I've been to in 13 years. Very very pleased with how this came out.

“We had a wonderful experience this afternoon at Goldenrod Barbershop. Our son is neurodivergent and absolutely is terrified of getting haircuts. This place came recommended for sensory haircuts. We are so thankful for the recommendation. Our son absolutely loved hanging with Sydney and Kegan. He even got to play the music he wanted and they were so patient with a zero free judgement zone. My son said his hair was perfect and he wanted to come back. Mind you, we have not been to a professional spot since he was a toddler, and he is 9 now. I can’t tell you how thankful we are for them. Huge victory today and they played a pivotal role when their welcoming arms.“

“My husbands hair cut looked good. But we didn’t want anyone touching his mustache or beard. Just wanted just his hair cut and his mustache got cut. Also thinned his hair out and shouldn’t have because it’s already thin. Weren’t upset about trimming around his beard but were upset about his mustache. First time going to a actual barber to. Maybe ask if they would like it trimmed before doing it. Everyone was very friendly as well. I also don’t get how a haircut went from $35 on the app to $45. This was my Valentine’s Day gift to my husband. The total was $67 with a tip. We were even early to the appointment. I don’t get how you book for one thing and then don’t even let the person see themselves in the mirror till the cut is done. Won’t be going here again“
