That’s how long it took me to convince Dakota to let me take him to a barbershop.

The wait was 100% worth it.

Zo took amazing care of Dakota in the chair. Warren, the owner, made us feel right at home, and his son, Britain, even took care of me with a fresh hot towel while I waited :)

I was honestly at a loss for words when I saw the transformation. I knew he’d look good, but I wasn’t prepared for that 😍

Huge thank you to everyone at the shop for making it such a memorable experience. We’ll definitely be back.

“100 out of 10 experience. J was super down to earth and made me feel welcome. He also shook my hand when it was my turn so that means a lot to me. He was fast and very good at his job. “Been coming here off and on for 25 years. You need to know what you’re getting. It’s not going to be a 60 min extremely detailed cut like you would pay $50+ for at a black barber shop. But you are getting a good quality fade, or otherwise simple cut in and out in 20 mins at a very reasonable price. Plus a cool vintage old school shop that has been local and in the neighborhood for decades. For what it is, they are the best around imo. Miguel and James always do good work for my sons and me.“

“I was really happy with how my haircut turned out. Magdiel took the time to talk with me about what I wanted and what would look best, which I appreciated. During the whole appointment he kept checking in to make sure everything was coming out right.

He paid close attention to detail and made sure everything matched what I was going for, and even gave a few suggestions that made it come out even better. He also sent me a video of the finished cut, which I really liked.
