When I first started training at Budo Traditional Karate, i didn’t know what to expect during training. I watched my sons grow up in the karate family, but I never stayed to watch the training portion. This was new territory for me, but something I always wanted to do. Sensei and Jamie got a workout working with me. They probably needed a drink after class also. I was not a good listener and I kept messing up, which frustrated me. I knew I could do better. I’ve been training at Budo Trafitional Karate for almost 2 years. Sensei Renfrow has devoted his life to share his knowledge and life experience to make us all better people. I have learned so much about karate as well as myself in a short period of time. I have met many friends along the way and we will learn and continue the journey with one another together.
Thank you Sensei and Jamie. Without you the dojo would not exist and we would be missing out on a very important part of something we have grown to love.
My only regret…I did not find it sooner.
Also, thanks to Brandon for introducing me to my new family. I appreciate you.

I am a student. I’ve been attending since 2019. I am a 50 year old man. Yes I got a late start and I am still learning ALL the time but I have consistently been impressed with their teaching methods and also the quality people I’ve met and am now friends with.
My 2 grandchildren 4 and 6 year old girls are now enrolled and are loving it.
Mental, physical, spiritual and self discipline are but a few things you get for the small amount of money.
First month even comes with your gi.
Come down, talk or meet with us. We’d be glad to have you, everyone is welcomed.
