The optometrist and all of the staff were knowledgeable, kind, and helpful! Their selection of eyeglasses is amazing! This was my first eye exam in more than 10 years and the doctor was so patient and explained everything.

Dr. Mayes is super!! Most thorough exam I've had! I have not so great eyesight and double vision. Dr. Mayes has gone above and beyond to get my glasses just right for my vision. His office staff is wonderful! The young man who fits you for your glasses and works with your insurance is very, very knowledgeable and explains all options for ordering your glasses. The front office person, is so nice, friendly and accommodating with scheduling your appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Mayes and Bluegrass Family Vision!!

Dr. Mayes is professional, patient, and really takes time for his patients! I am also delighted at the number of frame options they have. If they don't have what you want, they can get it for you. Love doing business with this local doctor.
