I've been using aveda salons for about 8 years now. They come in all shapes and sizes. This one is closest to my house outside of Dillard's. First off, parking is practically non existent. If you have an appointment during normal business hours you might end up looking the streets for a parking spot. They've remodeled their space and have more seating in their lobby. The newly remodeled area is much more open, they've done a wonderful job. Kyra does all our hair and she is an absolute joy and extremely patient with my children. Highly recommend.

I had an amazing experience at Industry Salon in Newport, KY! Kyra P. is an absolute gem — she took the time to really listen to what I wanted and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her attention to detail and care throughout the entire appointment made it not only a fantastic result, but also a truly relaxing experience. I left feeling refreshed, confident, and completely taken care of. Highly recommend Kyra and the salon as a whole!

I have been going to Tori since she started at Industry and I have never left disappointed, and always leave feeling so fabulous and beautiful. Tori listens to what I know I want but always suggests what she thinks would look good too. I love her honesty and willingness to communicate with me to find the perfect style. She is a good conversationalist and I feel comfortable in her chair, but I also feel confident in her skill and artistry. Her massages are literally the best 5 minutes of my day whenever I book with her, lol. Thankful for a skilled and relational hair stylist.

I have been a long time client of this salon, spending a great deal of money on color, extensions etc. Ive referred my daughter and some friends to the salon as well.
I recently starting bringing my son here for service on his hair including color which we spent over $200 for on a child. We also spent the past one year growing his hair to the length and style he wanted for so long. The color service was fine, simple all over black. Then we came back for the cut and was scheduled with the top stylist in the salon. We explained we wanted just a light trim and a little taken off the length in the back. He was overall going for the thick piece y anime look. The stylist cut his hair and it seemed fine but then she took out the thinning shears and carelessly, recklessly starting just going at his hair. Before I could say anything, his color was completely stripped away and he was left with very little hair and large uneven chunks missing. We paid $50 for a kids cut plus tip and left so as not to cause a scene but we were both in tears. This happened two days before his school picture day. I called the salon and patiently and respectfully explained out situation in a discreet manner, again not wanting to cause a scene. I was instructed to fill out a complaint online which I did and was called by the salon who offered a follow up hair cut to fix the problem. I reminded them there was not enough hair left on my sons head to fix the problem and we would be refunded. The receptionist said she would talk it over with. management and the owner. I waited a few days and heard nothing so called back. I was told that they already made an offer to correct the problem and there was nothing more they were willing to do. This is how they treat their long term loyal customers who refer family and friends. My son has gone to school with a hoodie everyday that he refuses to take off. One year of growth and two colors processes totaling over $700 gone in a flash and they lack the integrity to do anything other than chop off more hair, after not listening to us the first time, thinking we could trust them now.
