This was the worst nail salon experience I’ve ever had. I asked for dip nails and a gel pedicure. My toes and nails came out two different colors. My nails are all uneven, different lengths and shapes. One nail has bubbles and lint in it. During my nails, the gentleman continued to file my skin to the point it began bleeding and I had to pull away several times. I was so ready to get out I paid and left. I went back about 30 minutes later to ask for a partial refund stating my nails and toes are two different colors. First Nails has always been my go-to nail salon when I lived in Maysville, and they never disappoint! On my visit back to town, I had the joy of taking my granddaughter for her very first mani-pedi—and the experience was so very special.
The staff was incredibly kind, patient, and gentle with her, making her feel comfortable and pampered the entire time. Watching her smile and enjoy every moment meant the world to me. It was such a full-circle moment to be able to share a place that’s brought me joy over the years with the next generation.

Relatively efficient service and the lady I had was pleasant and kind. My issue is that another mail tech came over and took the same drill she used on my nails to use on another client. She didn’t clean or sanitize it, just went straight to using the drill on this man’s feet. doesn’t seem sanitary AT ALL to me. but I don’t know if that’s the fault of the salon or if that’s just what salons do. Imma just do my nails at home moving forward.Services: Gel manicures
