Horrible bedside manner, mediocre veterinarian, NO emotional intelligence. Overall tone came across as dismissive rather than caring. When you’re worried about your pet, you want someone who is patient, compassionate, and willing to explain what’s going on. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience here. I left feeling unheard and stressed instead of reassured. DO NOT recommend. Times are changing and he seems to be left behind.

Dr Mikey and his staff are amazing they were wonderful with my dog! They cared for him immediately with no hesitation I recommend his office to anyone and everyone I know!

Normally, I would give a good review here. Today, I can’t. We have a puppy that just needed to be checked out after my husband accidentally stepped on her. She went right under his feet. We called at 5:20, still open. I asked for them to wait just 10 min so we could make sure she was ok. They absolutely REFUSED! They REFUSED. The Dr. was still there. Nurses were still there. But everyone was too concerned about clocking out at 5:30. I’m appalled. They are Drs. They are supposed to take care of these babies and I wasn’t asking for open heart surgery. I just wanted to make sure she was ok and if not, we could have taken her to the emergency vet for care. Please know, I understand a schedule, but they were open and we were 10 minutes away.

Dr Mickey and his staff are great with both my dogs… even when they have to trim their nails!!! A Pitbull is not the easiest to cut but they do have patience with him and my German Shepherd!! I get all my flea and tick medicine there and their vaccinations… they are very reasonable on their prices and are very caring!!

I would never take any of my animals here my precious bully was run over by a truck bleeding from his nose and mouth, multiple lacerations, swollen snout and eyes, and couldn't breathe from the blood accumulation in his lungs and couldn't move and he turned him away because he tried to bite them due to him being in so much pain. So he barely made it to AUC tri state urgent care in middlesboro. They took excellent care of him. I WOULD RECOMMEND NEVER TAKING UR BELOVED FUR BABY TO HARLAN COUNTY ANIMAL HOSPITAL!

I took my puppy here today for her first round of shots and to have her checked out and I was blown away by the staff and the vet! Everyone was extremely sweet and helpful. They did blood work, stool exam, gave us a gift bag with lots of goodies heartworm medicine, and probably 50 treats for my girl, all for a super affordable price. I couldn’t ask for a better local vet’s office. They definitely got a customer for life today. Thank you all for being so amazing!
