A backed-up sewer line on a Sunday morning is usually a disaster. I phoned Vessels @ 8:45 am expecting to get an answering machine but to my surprise the on-call administrator (Deleah) answered the phone and by noon a plumber was at the condo working to open the line. He was able to open the line but suspicious of other issues. A camera survey of the line was scheduled which demonstrated major issues in the old sewer line. After reviewing options with the Vessels representatives all parties agreed the best long-term solution was to replace the line which was under the concrete basement floor. A three-day job! Plumbing work was top notch but the sludge in the pipes that were replaced were dumped in the grass in the side and rear yard as well as the driveway. The grass has died , it would have been a better choice to discard this material into a lined garbage can.
Les showed up with his very knowledgeable helper, I can not remember her name, but they worked great together and snaked two drains and did the great job I am used to getting from Vessels. Thanks folks, I will be telling everyone about you and how good you are at what you do.
