UofL Health - Medical Center Southwest provides outpatient and emergency care services. Some patients have reported rude receptionists, but nice nurses and doctors. Others have had good experiences, with staff being kind, patient, and professional. The center is noted for being very clean, which is a big plus for many patients. Patients appreciate the caring and pleasant nature of the staff, including technicians and doctors. Overall, patients feel safe and have their concerns listened to. The staff helps to calm down anxious patients and provides comfort during procedures. Despite some negative experiences, many patients have had positive interactions with the staff and would return if they need medical help. Exceptional care. Nurses and Dr's were right on top of my care. Radiology dept very gentle lots of laughs before and after test. It's a stand alone ER. They wanted to admit me but couldn't tell me which hospital I would be going t o. It was my decision to not to stay. We were out of town and I felt like more important to come home for treatment. That is nothing against them. Highly highly recommend
The fastest ive ever been in and out of an emergency room dr Wallace was my care provider and he did a great job in taking care of me and explaining everything to me his nurses was great ill definitely be going back
My experience here has always been great as well as my family. However, I came in and the secretary who took all of my personal information and concerns was on the phone with someone for a total of one hour with her AirPods in. I asked if she was on the phone while receiving all of my info?! She took the paper work and covered her phone up. I spoke with a charge nurse and all she did was say she would speak to the worker. I feel like this should have been taken way more serious being that HIPPA was violated.
