Clever Canine did a wonderful job with my two shih tzus. These dogs were rehomed to me when they were a year and a half old and I thought I might have to take them back as I had so much trouble with them. I have been a long-time dog owner but haf never had dogs like these. The male dog looked like a barking marionette on the end of a string if anyone walked past us in the neighborhood. He actually nipped several people before I could get him under control. His sister was just the opposite. She was so shy she ran and hid at the slightest noise.

Clever Canine is an amazing place to train your forever friend! We took our 3 year old rescue lemon beagle, Maggie, for a three week program this summer. Jennifer, the owner, is a true dog whisperer. She truly loves dogs and Maggie loved her! Maggie did great and we highly recommend Clever Canine!
I’m sharing my experience with those who aren’t believers in the prong or e-collar. I was one of those people a year ago. I thought they were cruel and I wasn’t a fan. I have since been educated and have experienced the benefits with my 1.5 year old golden retriever. We went from her pulling on the leash and walking me, to walking side-by-side. I no longer worry about her running off into the street or into a bad situation with other dogs. Jennifer and the team of trainers have done a fantastic job and Molly loves to continue going to enrichment school for fun, reinforcement, and mental stimulation.
