Sit Still Kids Salon on Frankfort Avenue is a one-of-a-kind kid’s salon that makes getting a haircut fun. The space is very clean, cute, fun, and welcoming. Kids can sit in a car during their haircut and watch cartoons on an iPad or TV. The hair stylists are wonderful, friendly, patient, kind, and truly great with kids. They are very good at handling scared or shy children, keeping them distracted. The salon is perfect for a first haircut experience and is wheelchair accessible. It is a bit pricey, but children receive a lollipop after and leave with a fantastic, cute haircut, sometimes with added braids or glitter. The whole family looks forward to the visit.

We had an amazing experience with Dawn today! She and the other woman working (didn’t get her name) were so friendly and made a nervous mom and dad very happy! Dawn was so patient and gentle while giving a very curious and wiggly 15 month old his first hair cut while the other woman kept him continuously entertained with bubbles and toys! We will be coming back for sure!
The experience was amazing! We were more anxious than our little guy was who sat so well. They gave us exactly what we asked for and made our son feel so comfortable. This is a great place to bring your children for a cut. This was our son’s first cut and we will definitely go back!
