Schumacher Homes of Louisville built our home in Bedford, KY. We absolutely love it. It is so well built and the building team were extremely responsive to all our concerns and/or changes that we wanted (even at the last minute). They go out of their way to build where you want to build, even if they don’t currently build in that county. We highly recommend them if you want to build a new home from scratch. Melissa (our builder), Floyd (Louisville general manager) and the rest of the Louisville team are great to work with. As a bonus, the build also finished under budget!

We recently completed a home build with Schumacher Homes of Louisville. The entire process was exceptionally well planned out and executed. Permits were ready upon closing and excavation started within 3 days. We broke ground Nov 1, 2026 and received our keys April 28, 2026. Floyd (General Manager) and team have this process wired. Melissa, our GC, was fantastic. Kayla always responded to emails or inquiries. Communication is key with your builder, and the team was always prompt to respond to any of our questions
We are in love with our Classic Olivia and could not be happier with the result. If you are looking to build from an honest, proven, reliable and timely home builder, Schumacher Homes should be #1 on your list.

We could not be more pleased with our initial phase of working with the team at Schumacher Louisville, especially Billie Neace and Dee Coyne! Billie stands apart from the droves of typically annoying frontline sales advisors in the building industry—he was amazing to work with. He took time to understand our needs, never pushed, and knew his stuff. He was able to get us accurate pricing on all our desired features immediately and nothing changed from our initial conversation! It was so refreshing to work with a true professional who demonstrates years of experience in the industry by giving us an accurate idea of price from the get-go!
Our time with Dee was an absolute delight. She was reachable immediately any time we had any doubts or questions about our design choices and it’s clear that she really enjoys her job and cares about us being happy with our dream home. We always got a warm welcome and felt like family every time we stopped by the design studio. She was so very patient with us as we figured out how to dial in exactly the look we were going for. We never felt pressured or rushed—a truly wonderful experience which seems to be rare these days! Highly recommend.

We have just settled in our Dream Home that was made by Schumacher Homes of Louisville We got the Davidson home it is Amazing Janet from their bank she is so sweet checked on us all the time making the financing process go smooth Monica making sure we had all documents and was on top of everything Deana helped us with all the different selections for the inside of the house and there was a lot and then Floyd he was the All around guy day and night even weekends if he said it then it got done the entire group from the builders to the bank was amazing we thank you all for building our dream home and OH!!! it was done in 90days before Christmas and we was able to spend New Years in our New Home thank you again Amber & Darrol Taylor Jr.
