Schumacher Homes of Louisville built our home in Bedford, KY. We absolutely love it. It is so well built and the building team were extremely responsive to all our concerns and/or changes that we wanted (even at the last minute). They go out of their way to build where you want to build, even if they don’t currently build in that county. We highly recommend them if you want to build a new home from scratch. Melissa (our builder), Floyd (Louisville general manager) and the rest of the Louisville team are great to work with. As a bonus, the build also finished under budget!
We recently completed a home build with Schumacher Homes of Louisville. The entire process was exceptionally well planned out and executed. Permits were ready upon closing and excavation started within 3 days. We broke ground Nov 1, 2026 and received our keys April 28, 2026. Floyd (General Manager) and team have this process wired. Melissa, our GC, was fantastic. Kayla always responded to emails or inquiries. Communication is key with your builder, and the team was always prompt to respond to any of our questions

We could not be more pleased with our initial phase of working with the team at Schumacher Louisville, especially Billie Neace and Dee Coyne! Billie stands apart from the droves of typically annoying frontline sales advisors in the building industry—he was amazing to work with. He took time to understand our needs, never pushed, and knew his stuff. He was able to get us accurate pricing on all our desired features immediately and nothing changed from our initial conversation! It was so refreshing to work with a true professional who demonstrates years of experience in the industry by giving us an accurate idea of price from the get-go!
