We hired Petra outdoors in August 2024 to build a custom fire pit in our backyard that resembled a tree stump. We worked with Evan to pick the proper location and design. The work was completed in a timely manner and looked good. However, we were told there was a 1 year warranty on the firepit. In July of 2025 I reached out to Evan to let him know that the firepit had several large cracks that needed to be repaired prior to our warranty timeframe expiring. I sent photos and we discussed the repair via text and call. We were in contact at least 3 times and I was told at one point that the stain needed to match my repair was on back order and would take a couple weeks to come in. He kept saying he would "be in touch to schedule something". I called, texted and sent Facebook messages multiple times from July through December. He completely quit responding in October and they have not completed the repairs which will ultimately lead to a much shorter lifespan of the firepit.

Lots of promises, miserable performance. After hounding Evan for the last six months to finish the inground spa project, he has now stopped taking my calls completely. I am now looking into legal options.

I wouldn't even give Petra one star. They caused my family significant stress and financial loss. The team showed a clear lack of expertise, leaving our project incomplete and the work that was done presented serious safety concerns. We trusted Evan's assurances, and now we’re paying the price for it. Very disappointing.

Evan and crew did an outstanding job of lighting our front yard and went the extra mile and got our lamppost working and even gave it a fresh coat of paint. There was good communication, very professional, and a very easy online payment system. Thank you.

Petra helped me with a complicated retaining wall that needed to be approved by the Architecture Committee in a historic neighborhood. There was a lot of documents that went into it and Evan took care of it every step of the way and went above and beyond to make sure the wall was built correctly. We are really happy to have gone with Petra!
