As an old guy. I grew up watching Ali begin and end his career. While I initially found him pretty abrasive, I slowly came to like the guy and I think most of the world did too. The museum is a beautiful building in a beautiful setting. All the film clips and quotes took me back many years. He truly was the greatest and loved by all.

This facility is a good representation of who Ali was. It's not focused on his boxing career, but his entire life. Ali: his early days, civil rights issues and frustrations (including some harsh comments that go beyond Malcolm X's most radical statements)--no sugar coding, his conversion to Islam, the draft and Vietnam, his comeback, his Parkinson's, the philanthropy, the foreign missions, and his decline and death. There is a slight mention that Ali may not have been the easiest husband to deal with (the only area of Ali's life that is not examined). Great museum to follow the exhibition to know the brilliant life of Muhammad Ali, and understand his efforts towards African Muslim equality and world peace. But some of the exhibition and introductions might need quite enough history background knowledge, especially the knowledge of post WWII global dynamics, to know the courage and decision from the giant. And the displays in floor 3 and 4 are significantly less informative than floor 5.
