Mills Barber Shop is a friendly and fun barbershop that offers great haircuts at reasonable prices. The staff is skilled with the clippers and cares about their customers, providing toys for children to play with while waiting. It is one of the few barber shops left in the area that has the old neighborhood feel, where customers can sit back and talk with others while waiting their turn. The atmosphere is very family-friendly, making it a recommended spot for a pretty good haircut. Customers appreciate the reasonable price of only $16.00 for great haircuts. Despite the busy schedule, with only one barber working, Mills is known for his great conversation and personable nature. This barbershop remains a popular choice for men of all ages, from little boys to older gentlemen.
I asked for a full shave of my head down to the skin. Is it the place of somebody who doesn't like having hair to review a barbershop? Maybe not. I'm not sure. What I'm sure of is that I paid a fair price for a darn close shave with some very insightful banter. I left that barber shop smarter and wiser than I was when I came in. Great guy, this barber. Straight shooter and funny too.
It's nice to feel the sun on my scalp again. 5 stars. Will probably come back in a few months when I get sick of having hair again.
