“This was my first bjj gym and it genuinely skyrocketed my progress, if you take Jesse’s class seriously 2-3 months of work can beat someones year. I questioned myself until I rolled at other gyms and realized Jesse is beyond legit and a unicorn, I made the transition to mma early and this gym only does grappling but I seriously feel like I’m missing out on something when I’m not there.“

“I have two little ones that attend karate classes at Thomas Karate Academy and I cannot recommend the experience enough! My kiddos have developed confidence while being pushed outside of their comfort zone by their instructors during classes. They’ve pushed themselves mentally and physically in ways other extracurricular activities just can’t reproduce.

The dojo is available to them five days a week and really works with our busy home life and overall schedule. They were able to partake in other sports or attend other obligations without sacrificing their karate lessons.

Overall, they’ve made friends with an array of students of all ages that attend classes here. We as parents have also made friends with some of the other parents. There is always a real effort on everyone’s part to participate in additional events — whether it’s a party, a potluck, or an extra “camp” hosted during school breaks. I’ve never felt anything other than welcome by not only the entire staff here, but also the families of all the other students. Everyone is always cheering each other on during testing or difficult/new teachings. My kids strive to try their best to make their instructors proud.

The prices here were a pleasant surprise after having priced other martial arts classes. We are always able to purchase their gear straight through the dojo for less than places online or in-town. I am so glad we reached out for a free first class for our littles because it was the perfect introduction to sports for both of them.“
