502 Little Shop of Hairdo's

I had such a terrible experience at Little Shop of Hairdos in upland I had to share here after she threatened to find where I work and “fight fire with fire” because I said I would leave a review? I sat from 10am-1:45pm to get my roots done and after paying $115 I was left with this! Bleach still in my hair. The owner offered for someone else to fix it over the phone so I come in today to fix it and she tries to have the same stylist fix it! She NEVER told me it would be him again. She wasn’t apologetic at all and won’t refund my money either. Completely mind blown as to how a shop owner would behave like that!

This review is specificly for aubry because I love my color work from Heidy. After spending $800 to have dread lock extensions placed, a little over a month later I had to have them removed and redone at another salon because 1) they were never placed even remotely correct in the first place 2) the maitnance I was advised on was straight from the 90's and 3) the extension hair which was additional out of pocket money she charged me was absolute trash quality. She should not be allowed to offer this services this salon.

Whitney is the absolute sweetest person on this whole earth and the BEST IBE Master Stylist in Louisville, Ky! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with her warm and friendly smile. She listened attentively to my hair goals and offered valuable suggestions. Throughout the entire extension process, she made sure I was comfortable and informed about each step. The end result exceeded my expectations! I left the salon feeling confident and beautiful. She installed 2 rows of 22” micro weft extensions which she meticulously colored to match my hair and the color dimension is gorgeous. I highly recommend Whitney!

I’d also like to add that after 8 weeks my extensions still felt fabulous, zero tension on my scalp, zero irritation and that is exactly what I had been searching for. I have been wearing IBE extensions for over 3 years now and Whitney is the best she is the only person that I trust with my hair!

Whitney is amazing! Best color and cut I've ever had. She is consistent and loves to mix it up when requested. A fun time and an all around good human. Her color skills are excellent and always compliment my skin tone, cut and style. She is fun, intelligent and gives great advice and wonderful customer experience and friend!

Whitney is absolutely amazing! Not only is she, in my opinion, one of the best stylists in the industry locally, but she is a wonderful person. She is honestly one of the kindest, most down to earth, selfless, attentive, wholesome human being I have ever met. I always look forward to being able to sit in her chair. Fake nice. She doesn’t even know what a Protestant is and is a non-Catholic Christian. How does that work? Must be a cult with people that don’t behave very Christian like. She canceled an appointment because she claimed she needed more time to fix 1.5 inch length hair growing out a bit uneven post chemo. Needed a slight trim to be more like a pixie and a hand done streaks, probably too short for foils. Told her it was the only time I had available due to hospital/doc appointments and surgeries. She said my being disappointed about the scheduled appointment being canceled because I said that had to be more than enough time (it was like 1.5 hours), and scheduling anything in the future was very difficult and that was the perfect day and time for probably a month, she took that as and said it was aggressive? I was appalled by that accusation, as it was absolutely not true, her nastiness when I’ve never been anything but kind/generous to her and her son blew my mind. Bad, fake nice human. Color is always yellow, and makes you pay for her mistakes or color correction. Just went there because I thought she was a sweet mom that needed business. Instead she is a rich b word that can afford campers, cars, trips, and is mean to the sick and weak. Which is weird because she talks incessantly about a church in an area of town I didn’t know existed. And she is the one who gets aggressive and blocks you because you get a bit upset that your only free day away from a hospital setting cannot be accommodated. It was fine, it just felt like a gut punch. I had done zero grooming after 7 months of 8 hour a day chemo, and 17 surgeries. No alternative or care was presented by who I now know is a cold, heartless person. Studio is tacky. Total lack of taste. Do not recommend. More talented and genuinely nice hair folks are out there. My now stylist waited 45 minutes for me the other day when I was in a terrible bind, in tears, and his last client. He could have gone home. Instead he was loving, boosted spirits, and we were both laughing and having the nicest time, and my hair looked beautiful. He is a Godly and good human. He left like lightening but never let on I made him late for something. I felt guilty and texted so when he left so fast. The reply was sweet and supportive. He always touches my heart with his caring nature. So, I guess in a weird way, I’m thankful for being fired as a client. The few hair people I’ve had in my life became cherished friends. One went back to college, and two moved, one still keeps in touch quite often. Even sends get well cards. Find those kind of people.
