Today I discovered Ken's Haircutting and had the pleasure of getting my haircut by Marissa and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience.
Finding someone who truly understands how to cut your hair the way you envision it is incredibly rare. Throughout my life, I've only encountered three people who could consistently deliver the exact haircut I wanted, and Marissa is now proudly among them. My hair has always been important to me, and I'm very particular about how it's styled, so when I say she nailed it, that's not something I say lightly.
Been going there off and on. 2009 ... they can cut hair. But only takes cash. Need to figure out. Somethung there for somebody who wants to pay with their card. 92 better yet. Its 2024 #cashapp#

This is one of those shops with a legacy. It's been handed down from barber to barber over a lot of years. I only know bits of the history. The current owner took over from Ken who I think retired twice. Ken's wife seemed to work there as much or more than he did. He took over when it was called Eli's from a Lady that in turn took over from Eli, who retired after a lot of years at the chair. There was one change in location that I remember, and a great many associate barbers that came and went and sometimes came back... and then left again. It's a nice place with friendly people that do good work.
