Hwang's Martial Arts is a highly recommended business for parents, offering various programs such as after-school activities, summer camps, and opportunities for belt advancement. Children can build self-confidence, learn discipline and focus, and experience camaraderie. The martial arts school provides good physical fitness and organizes events like birthday parties. However, there was an issue this year during the Taekwondo Tournament where participants were rushed, leading to incomplete routines. Despite this, the overall experience remains positive.
I received my blackbelt back in 2009! The amount of discipline and accountability helped me shaped who I am today. I hope to return to continue my training 🙏
GM Hwang, his whole family, and his students have ALWAYS been welcoming to non-Hwang's Martial Arts martial artists. I first met GM Hwang in 1990, having been in the area of his school while at a local MEPS station, and he allowed me to train with him for those three days. Then years latter, he was hosting the ITF DPRK team, which is a showcase of his willingness to host others, and now for the last few years, he has been so welcoming for our newest Kentucky Dojang!
