If I could give them a zero, I would. They came into the property they were clearing and did not install silt fencing before they started, they came over the marked property lines, planning and zoning had to stop their work and they destroyed many healthy trees that could have stayed. Owner Greg was also extremely rude and uncooperative. I had many others with city government and others in the industry tell me they are notorious for not following any guidelines. DON’T USE THEM!!

Hats off to Greg Deetsch, owner of Grasshoppers Landclearing and Tree service, Inc., 2405 Blankenbaker Rd in Louisville, Ky, and his team who recently removed a large OakTree and large Magnolia Tree in my back and side yard. Zach, Michael, and Austin did a superb job! They arrived promptly when scheduled and were very professional, courteous, cautious, and worked hard and steadfastly throughout the day. They removed the stump and cleaned up any remaining debris. It was a major decision for me to remove these trees. However, with some of the severe winds and storms we have encountered in the past few years and major damage throughout our city, I feared them falling and causing the same to my home. The peace of mind I feel and reduction in work and constant cleanup from the age of the trees made me realize it was definitely the right decision! If you have such concerns, give Greg a call. I called the Mulch yard 5 times with no answer so I called grasshoppers Tree clearingsince Grasshoppers Tree clearing is on their equipment to see about dropping off some sticks and logs. Grasshopper Tree clearing had the mulch yard woman call and the woman immediately started ranting and raving on the phone about no connection to Grashoppers Tree Clearing. She got so wound up about it I said calm down and she got even worse. Like someone stepping on a cat. Finally she said she had no more room. Then after a few choice words I hung up. Then I received texts from her saying she contacted everyone in KY not to accept any material from us,, THEN, she said she would post on social media. She is absolutely the worst customer service person ever

Poor customer service never answers phone or return calls. Was scheduled to remove some trees for me said would be 2-4 weeks before they could get to it. After 4 weeks and not hearing from them i finally got ahold of someone after about a dozen calls was told it would be a couple more weeks. now its been 8 weeks was told 3 days ago after finally getting ahold of someone again after trying for 2 days to reach someone. That they would get back to me that afternoon with a time. 3 days later nothing so i am now finding someone else .Terrible customer service.
