I have been getting my haircut by Dave for over 15 years. I have tried other places from time to time, but I always regret it. No one is better than Dave. If I ever win the lottery, I plan keeping Dave on retainer as my personal barber.
David was so patient and skilled when it came to my 2 year old's first cut! We came in with a set of grandparents and as anxious first-time parents and he did a great job – letting us take a ton of pictures and slide our son lots of candy to keep him happy. We got a first-time cut certificate, too, which was a nice touch. David has been a barber in the business a long time and our son came out looking sharp! Would recommend to anyone!
Cutting it Close is a very professional barber shop with great efficient customer service. I was greeted immediately (which I love) and to my surprise even though there were quite a few people in the shop, it didn't take very long for my son to get his haircut. My sons' barber is David and he's very friendly. He even entertained my son's request to get an O in the back of his head (as if I'd allow that)! Anyway, we have since moved out of KY but if you're just moving or if you're looking for a great barber--definitely visit David for a quick and professional cut!
