This place is great! I recently bought a cello from here and the staff was super helpful and professional. They definitely helped me make the right decision! I had been renting a cello before and highly recommend Old Town's rental services to anyone who is interested in playing violin, viola, cello, or bass.All of their rental instruments are tip quality and sound great! They are also very affordable.
I’ll start by saying that I am new to classical instruments. I’ve been shopping for upright basses and called Old Time to see if they had stock, they mentioned there’s was limited but invited me in to not only look but feel free to play what they had. I had the assumption I’d hobble around the thing and play it from an awkward angle in the showroom but no! The fellow who helped me brought the bass into a beautiful private room and left me in peace to pluck away knowing I had no intention of buying but only a simple interest.
